This leaf spawned a whole thought process about standing out and being different. Reminded me that even as I sometimes struggle with never fitting in, sometimes that's the beauty of it. Not being like all the rest.

An Expression Of Love

Look at what God has created. To me, this is an expression of love. He created such a detailed and beautiful leaf, and yet we are not even required to notice. But how much we miss, if we don't.

Too Many To Count

Too many hidden gifts to count the past couple of days. And I will share them here eventually. Here is one for today, a natural juxtaposition.

Time Spent Together

Today's hidden gift was time spent with my brother in the woods and by the lake. We explored together and talked and laughed and looked at animal tracks and it was lovely. A good memory.

A Substitute Hidden Gift

Today's hidden gift was thousands and thousands of beautiful stars, visible from a place where there are few lights to make it difficult to see. Unfortunately, only my eyes beheld that gift, but I would like to substitute a picture of the moon which was a hidden gift one jolting night in a bus in Bolivia. It stopped momentarily, I snapped the picture and away we went, with this golden moment on my camera. And now here.
